TAG SALE Saturday, October 24 (Rain date, Sunday October 25)

Posted on Oct 15 2020 - 12:51pm

Hello Scouts and Families.  We are only 8 days away from the Troop Tag Sale :) We are having it on October 24 (rain date 10/25) again in the Rite Aid parking lot on Rt 25. We will start setting up at 7 AM and we will be done at 4 PM. Please, bring your donations (household items, furniture, electronics, sporting goods, art, NO CLOTHING PLEASE) between 7 AM and 8 AM. The unsold items will have to be picked up from the parking lot in the end of the tag sale. We will need all scouts and their parents to contribute (making and distributing signs, organizing items following the safety guidelines). If you have questions, please, stay on Monday evening during the troop meeting. We can meet in the parking lot. It is the only fundraiser our troop is doing and it is very important that we all support our scouts and the troop. Please, check the troop website and your emails for more information.

Dues and Fundraising

Posted on Oct 15 2020 - 10:38am

Rechartering for the Pomperaug District is November 14. In order to keep the Troop Registered and insured, we need to submit our dues and ensure all parents are current with Youth Protection training. Our dues this year will be $165 ($155 for siblings). Please bring your check to the next troop meeting, The troop continues to cover part of the increase in National and Council dues. We understand that this is a hardship for some families, and do not want any child to be unable to participate due to cost. Please reach out to one of the leaders, treasurer or committee chair if you need financial accommodation.
